Temple at fall time

A few weeks back we went up and wandered around the temple.  It was beautiful!  The colors this time of year are my favorite.
I love this place and how I feel when I am on the grounds.
The kids were really cute there.  They were all over the place of course.

We went to the top of the conference center and our nice guide took our picture there.  Wow, Mike and I need to go back and do the full tour sometime its pretty incredible.

Halloween 2012

Some FHE pumpkin carving going on.  This is the first time in a long time we have attempted to carve pumpkins.
The kids really were getting into it.
It defintely helped having Jake and Jared there to help inspire us all to keep with it.  Pumpkin carving is hard work!
These guys don't mess around...they are pros!
Here is my little knight in arms and my ninja protector!  We are on our way to trunk or treat .
It wasn't as cold as last year but still chilly.  Here is a picture of the road we traversed.
Mo and her best bud Brinley.
Thanks to Jake and Jared we actually had a decorated trunk!  They did a great job.
The highlight of this years Halloween was going to Uncle Jake and Jared's.  That scary clown is Jared and did he ever scare the kids in his neighborhood!  It was really fun.

I am loving having Jacob here and making these awesome memories with him.  They let my boys answer their door and the kids told me later that was the best Halloween so far.

Totally Tatum

Brothers...so sweet.  Carson is a great big brother!  He is teaching him about gaming and Tatum is an eager learner.
This sweet babe started crawling right before Halloween and has been on the go ever sense.  Two bottom teeth came in the same weekend.
How can people not believe in God?  I just don't get it when I look into a child's eyes and see the innocence and beauty I am amazed that He entrusted me with one of his precious little ones.
Tatum has a few key faces he makes and this is one of them...the nose scrunch...he also has the "I am totally shocked look" I will post those soon!

My little 8 month old is growing...STOP!

First time in a long time

So much good has been going on for  us.  First, my brother is now our neighbor.  They moved here right before Halloween and that has been really fun for me to have family so close!  Then we were able to get my sisters and their kids, and my parents to come down for a weekend before Halloween.  I can't even say how much fun that was!

Here Grandpa Randy is jumping with the boys.  He is very impressive for a Grandpa!
Thank goodness that my friend Emily gave us this tramp.  (Thank you Emily!!)  If I knew how well it would keep the kids entertained I would have bought one a long time ago!  This kept the kids busy most of the time.
 Cort bonding with little Tater.
The weekend they all came Tatum started doing the strangest little faces...we actually caught this one with the camera.  He was so funny.  He also started crawling and broke two teeth that weekend.
The kids stayed with us and my sisters stayed with Jake and Jared.  It was so fun having all the cousins together.  That first night they stayed up until they all just passed out from the fun.

Harley is such a good little girl.  I always know if she is around everything will be on the up and up.  Love that girl!
I thought this was a fitting shot for Halloween..plus he is one of our nice kitties.
Cassie is such a great little sis...I was so pleased she was here with us all!
Its been almost a year now that Cortney has been back in the picture and I am still shocked when I see pictures of me and her together again.... I love it and I love her!!
Mom was put to work during our get together.  It was so fun just hanging out and being together....all of us.  I think this was the first time we had done something with all of us together in TEN years!!  Crazy
 All us girls together!
Jake and Jared did a fabulous job in carving their pumpkins.. they were spooky.
The highlight of this trip was the treasure hunt we had the kids do.  I told Jake it would be fun to do something like this and the next thing I know he came up with the most amazing story to go along with it.  He did the decorations and everything..it was really special.
I think there was 7 clues to be read and we walked all over out back with all of us involved.  The kids you could tell were a little scared and excited to see where this was going to lead them.
The last stop lead them to the beautiful witch Cass that had a cauldron filled with treats for them.  If we can get them to all come down again next year we will really put together something fun like this again.
The great part about getting together is all the laughing and talking you do.  There was so much laughter, especially of the picture we took at breakfast with us all... I need to get my hands on that and talk a few people into letting me post it.
Here is our goodbyes....what an incredible weekend........ fun with no drama.  That is pretty rare when my side gets together, we are usually pretty high in the drama department...but not this time.

We are hoping to get together before Christmas too...we all sure hope it happens.

Family Trip to Park City

I look at these pictures and am amazed that I have so many kids!  Not too bad for a girl who didn't want ANY kids.  Family trips at this point in time are difficult.  Its hard trying to keep everyone in line but at the same time wanting to have fun.  It was fun though.. we just went for a overnight-er and it was good.

We were driving around at one point and say these just helping themselves to someones front yard.
This is a great group of kids here.  I love them and glad they are mine.
And this guy here....I am sure glad he is mine too!

Collet Reunion

Yes, I am still posting about summer time!  One of the best times this summer was the Collet Family Reunion.  We went to my Aunt Deni's house for the weekend and just relaxed.  It was so fun!   In attendance were: Grandpa and Grandma, Uncle Doug, Aunt Kathy and Katie, Cort and Harley and Aunt Denise's family with a few extras.

The highlight...talking
talking...
 and more talking!
It was so fun to let the kids just go run wild at their place.  They were wonderful hosts and hope to do it again next year!
Morgan just fell in love with the kitten there.
And Max too.....who wouldn't he is very handsome!
They had a little swimming spot that they took us too which was perfect, because it was HOT!
Having everyone together laughing and joking with each other was so fun!
Grandma is so cute!  She is such a hard worker and always ready to serve in anyway she can...she is am amazing example to me!

I love what is actually happening in the back ground...we still laugh when we look at this!
