Family in Idaho 2

My mom and Morgan. This day at the pond was freezing.

It was a lot of fun to hang out with family that we had not seen in a long time. See how happy we are!

This was a cute one of the cousins. Kayden, Harley, Cole and Carson. They just ran around crazy. I love seeing them together. Harley is my sister Cortney's little girl. She is a week older than Carson. She is a cute little girl.

Family in Idaho

So these pictures were taken at the "pond". My Grandpa Ford decided to make a pond on his land and it has turned into a place where all the family likes to congregate. We happened to come when the Call side was getting together which was awesome!

The picture above is my cousin Paul. He is someone who has been very important in my life. We have grown up together but we really became close when we moved to Arizona to go to school. Not only did we live together, go to school together, we joined the gospel together. That time in my life will always be special.

This lovely lady is my Grandma Carol. She is a wonderful person who is always so kind and considerate. She has so many characteristics that I admire... one day I hope to have developed like her.

My Aunt Kathleen....she is awesome. We like to joke that I am really her daughter because I look so much like her. This is a woman whom I love very much. She has gone through a lot in her life and is still going. I spent a lot of time at her house for a few years there and she spoiled me along with Paul and Shana.

We played at the pond for two nights that we were there. This is one of the nights that Morgan was great. She was having fun walking around.

My adorable little Dottie!

This picture makes me laugh. Cole and Carson were playing with there cousin Kaden. That little guys is Paul's and he is one tough little cookie. It was fun to watch the boys fight and play over the ball.

I think this picture of mom and Morgan is so cute. We were really struggling with Morgan to get here to cooperate.

My mom is a wonderfully talented woman with so many gifts. Let me brag about her for a moment. She can sew anything from clothes to curtains and has for a long time. She also is a wonderful cook and makes the best rolls and bread EVER! As far as running a home...she is one of the best. Her house is kept clean and always in show condition. She exercises almost everyday of the week and has since I can remember. This woman is so creative. She scrapbooks, stamps, makes anything and everything that catches her eye. Have I mentioned that she can garden as well? Well, she can and does. She is currently involved in taking online photo classes to become an even better photographer than she already is. To say in one sentence my mom is inspirational! I owe a lot of who I am and what I am interested in to her.

She loves taking photos of her family!

While we were there this time we discovered that Cole has allergies. He woke up one morning and his eyes were almost swollen shut. It doesn't help that he went 4 wheeling out in the fields, but that didn't keep him from playing outside. He LOVES to climb trees. He wouldn't stay out of this one.

Outside in Idaho

My parents have the most beautiful house and yard. It sits on 40 acres and is just gorgeous. It is surrounded by fields of mustard right now and is so pretty. It is so nice being in open space and surrounded by fields. I know that Idaho is not the prettiest place in the world, but because it is where I grew up I think it will always be the best place to me. And the cottonwood trees there make the most wonderful sound in the wind. It almost sounds like water.

I didn't grow up in this house. My parents built this about 6 years ago. I grew up in town on Riverton Road. I will have to do a post about that house. I have a lot of good memories there. Even though I say it was in town, we were still across the street from fields. Thats whats great about small towns.

I think this property comes close to my dream place. They are situated in the middle of their land. They have a huge garden area and plenty of space to do whatever they want.

That day we just sat on the grass and I watched the kids play while my mom tried to get pictures of the kids. It was so relaxing. The boys just ran wild outside. Being in the country takes some pressure off watching your kids in some ways. First, you don't have to worry about them getting hit by a car, they can yell as loud as they want and they are not bothering anybody, and they can go and explore because there is so much space.

My Little Girl

Awhile back I did a post of Morgan's first 4 months so this is an update to that. In the above picture she is 6 months. She was sitting up and crawling around. She was a really good scooter for awhile and then took off from there.

This is an April shot so she is around 7 months.

Here is another one of the many favorite pictures of her. She is around 9 months here. I can't get over how happy she is. She is so patient with me and so tender with Mike. I feel so blessed to have her in my life. And when I count the other family members ( Mike, Cole, and Carson) I am almost overwhelmed at how I love them all so much. They are so good and I am so thankful I was blessed so much!

Here she is at my parents house wandering around. This is when she is 11 months old. She is really good at getting around. My mom still says she has the monster walk though.

Sacramento Family Trip 3

Michael is the best dad ever! He is so good to our kids. Little Morgan loves him so. When we were walking and he was holding her she was just laying on his shoulder looking up at him. We couldn't resist getting this sweet moment.

The boys got to do a little ride outside of the Funderland park on these cute little horses. Cole's was named Blackie and Carson's horse was named Rusty.

Carson was so happy to be at the zoo and see all the animals. He most wanted to see the loin and tiger. We got to see the lion but never the tiger. Hopefully we can go back and do this again. I love seeing the boys so excited....they are awesome kids.

Cole kissing this statue.....little weirdo!!! He most enjoyed the lemur's there because they had scary eyes he said. This trip was fun....of course, not without kid drama but we were able to manage without any major issue.

Sacramento Family Trip

Here are pictures of Morgan on our little trip. She was so good while we were there. She is always good. We are so blessed to have her special little spirit bless our home.

She is almost 11 months old now. She took her first steps at the beginning of her being 9 months and was walking in the later end of her 9th month. She is so cute to watch walk because she is so little.

Backyard Update

Yes, I am well pleased with the yard this year. It is so fun to see things grow and get bigger and better with each year. Since Michael and I have married this is the 3rd backyard we have put in from scratch. The previous homes we never got to see them the year after we put them in!
I am getting tons of zucchini! I love zucchini they make me feel like a successful gardener. I am getting tomatoes and cucumbers too. We are going to have watermelon too, to my surprise. (I wasn't sure if it would grow.)

Our trees have done really good too! We have fruit on all of them. The peaches have already come and gone. And the nectarines are done and the peaches and apples I think are almost done.

A Buffalo Named Cassie

So that nasty piece of fur you see on the ground there is a buffalo that Michael shot back in February. I was very happy that he got to go and do something he really wanted to do. However, I was not anticipating the hide he would want to display proudly somewhere in the house. The boys were very excited about it and wanted to name it. Cole came up with Cassie. (Cass, I have no idea why he chose that name but I guess you could consider it a complement!) They wanted Mike to hang it upstairs on their wall. Disgusting......

So because I was putting up such a fuss about having it in the house the boys decided to really push my buttons and started laying on it and rolling around on it. I am happy to say that it is boxed up in the garage. One day Cassie will be able to take her rightful place and be displayed proudly on our garage wall.

Are you a right wing extremist?

You are if you can answer yes to any of these questions:

1. Do you want our borders closed not because you are a racist but because you believe in upholding the LAW?

2. Do you believe its important to protect our 2nd amendment right to bear arms?

3. Do you believe in God and that its our God given right to worship how and where we want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone?

4. Do you believe that the Constitution should still be the law of the land? And if so, that it should be interpreted the way the founders intended it to?

5. Do you love the flag and like to show it off?

Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions welcome to the right wing extremist club! Our government thinks we are crazy and out of touch. I'm being facetious but this is what they truly are using to draw the line in the sand between who is normal and who is crazy.

I was amazed to watch how the media described the tea party attendees on tax day. They were called every name in the book and I thought then can they really be missing the mark that bad or are they being deceitful in order to fool the masses that rely on there coverage for the truth. I have come to the conclusion that they are being deceptive intentionally because they are doing it again.

Has anyone seen the coverage of the town halls that are erupting all over the country? It is truly interesting to watch normal citizens, like us, not buying the BS about ObamaCare. (I think the better title for the bill, as some say correctly, would be Obama Control.) Here are the representatives of the people trying to talk them into this monstrosity and they are not buying it. I LOVE it! Now once again the media are painting the people in attendance as "mobs". Why don't they see it for what it is? A grassroots movement that is sick and tired of not being listened too. Not the "AstroTurf" mob that they are used to assembling through ACORN and other illegitimate organizations they fund with OUR money.

I am concerned but also encouraged by what is going on. I love our country and the tenacity of the citizens that make it up. I choose to believe everything will work out as long as all of us do our part by becoming informed on the issues, learning about how our government works, participating in our great Republic, and then having faith and relying on our God. What an exciting time to be alive!
